Aunt Barbara's Rice A Ronni
Yummy side dish for any meal Quest & Trenton’s favorite
ingredients
- 1 Cup regular Rice
- 1 Cup Orzo {rice shaped macaroni}
- 1/2 Cup chopped Celery
- 2 Green Onions {chopped}
- Olive Oil or Butter
- 2 tsp, Chicken Bouillon
- 2 tsp, Garlic {fresh is best}
- Salt & Pepper
- 2 1/2 Cups Water
directions

In a Frying pan with a lid that fits, on medium heat.

Add Celery, Olive oil, Onions, Chicken Bouillon, and Garlic.

Saute a few minutes.

Add Rice and Orzo and lightly brown. Then add water, stir once, cover with lid & reduce heat to low let simmer till rice is tender.

About 20 minutes.

Try not to stir it will make the rice gooey....

Sometimes I add chopped broccoli, shredded carrots, or mushrooms. You can also use Beef Bouillon
