Grilled Sirloin Salad
Flank steak can be substituted for sirloin. Serve with garlic toast.
ingredients
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 lb boneless sirloin steak, trimmed
- 8 cups mixed salad greens
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 (8 1/2 oz) can whole kernel corn, rinsed and drained

Combine first 7 ingredients, rub over both sides of steak. Heat a nonstick grill pan over medium-high heat. Add steak, cook 5 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness. Cut steak across grain into thin slices.

Combine salad greens and the remaining ingredients in a large bowl, toss well to coat. Top with steak.
