aunt karen's famous mussles in white wine
great as is or over angle hair pasta,
ingredients
- mussles
- olive oil
- capers
- fresh garlic
- red onion
- lemon
- white wine
- butter
- fresh parsley
- fresh basil
- pesto
- chicken broth
directions

saute chopped onion, garlic, parsley, basil in olive oil until just soft
- 2
add wine, pesto, chicken stock,capers, lemon juice and butter simmer to mix flavors

steam mussles using wine and chicken stock
- 4
toss steamed mussles into the mixture add thin slices of lemon and enjoy
notes
