Ground Turkey Noodle Bake
This is a tasty alternative to lasagna, and it’s a way to rotate through food storage powdered milk.
ingredients
- 3 cups uncooked egg noodles
- 1/2 lb ground turkey
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 to 2 cups spaghetti sauce
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 Tbs Italian seasoning
- 2/3 cup milk powder
- 1/2 cup water
- 4 oz low-fat cream cheese
- 1 Tbs dried parsley
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. In a medium saucepan, cook egg noodles according to package instructions. Set aside.

2. In a skillet, cook turkey, onion, and garlic over medium-high heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in tomatoes, spaghetti sauce, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cover and let simmer about 10 minutes.

3.In the medium saucepan, combine milk powder, water, cream cheese, parsley, and garlic. Stir over medium heat until cream cheese is melted.

4. Add noodles to cream cheese mixture. Transfer to a greased 9x13in baking dish. Top with turkey mixture. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Bake, uncovered, for 15-20 minutes.
