Saturday Morning Pancakes
Yes, it’s worth making them from scratch!!
ingredients
- 2 cups milk
- 1 Tablespoon vinegar
- 1 teaspoonful baking soda
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoonfuls baking powder
- 3 Tablespoonfuls vegetable oil
directions

Whisk together in a large bowl the milk, 1 t. baking soda, and vinegar. Let sit for 3-5 minutes. Then beat in the 2 eggs. Next add four, salt and baking powder and finally the vegetable oil.

Do not over mix. Pour 1/3 cup batter onto hot, greased griddle. Let cook until top is covered with small bubbles. Flip. If you like you can spinkle chocolate chips, or blueberries or bananas on the pancakes right after you pour the batter onto the griddle. Wait for the bubbles and then flip to other side. Cover with warm maple syrup and whipping cream. Num!
