Apple Crisp
Bake 20 minutes @ 450, bake 30 minutes @ 350
ingredients
- Filling:
- 2 lb. Granny Smith Apples
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Topping:
- 1/4 cup flour
- 3/4 cup old fashioned rolled oats
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, 1 stick melted

Preheat oven to 450. Butter 9“ x 7” x 2" glass baking dish. Peel & slice apples. Combine all filling ingredients in a large bowl with the sliced apples, mix well.

Melt butter. Combine brown sugar, oats & flour together in a smaller bowl, mix well. Add melted butter and mix thoroughly.

Put apple mixture into baking dish, spread evenly. Crumble topping mixture with your hand over the apple mixture.

Bake crisp for 20 minutes. reduce oven to 350 and bake for an additional 30 minutes. Let stand for 15 minutes before serving.

Serve with vanilla ice cream.
