Sauteed Chicken with Mushrooms
A yummy main dish!
ingredients
- 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 cup sliced green onions
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 3/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 (10 oz) can cream of mushroom soup

Pound each chicken breast to 1/4 inch thickness.

Mix flour, salt and pepper. Coat chicken in flour mixture; set aside.

Heat skillet over medium heat; add butter. Saute garlic, onions and mushrooms for 3 minutes. Remove with slotted spoon.

Place chicken in skillet. Cook 5 minutes per side. Add broth and soup to skillet. Cook 5 minutes.

Return mushroom mixture to skillet and reduce heat to low. Simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Serve immediately.
