Indian Summer Turkey Chili
A Rachael Ray inspired quick and easy chili the whole family likes
ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 4 T chili powder
- 2 T grill seasoning
- 1 T cumin
- 2 T Worchestershire sauce
- 1-3 T hot sauce (optional)
- 1 large onion, diced
- 1 large sweet pepper, diced
- 1 jalapeno pepper, diced
- 1/2 bottle beer
- 1 (14oz) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 c barbecue sauce
- 1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 2 c corn kernels

In a large pot or Dutch oven, brown the turkey and drain fat. Add chili pepper, grill seasoning, cumin, Worchestershire, and hot sauce. Mix well, then add onion and peppers.

Cook 10 minutes, until vegetables are softened. Add beer to deglaze the pot, then add tomato and barbecue sauces. Bring to a boil, add beans, turn heat to med-low, and simmer at least 10 minutes. Add corn and heat through.

Serve with shredded cheese, chopped onion, tortilla chips, sour cream, cilantro, or your favorite chili topping.
