Sweet Cream Biscuits, similar to those served at the old L&N Seafood Grill and Peter K’s
- 2 cups baking mix
- 2/3 cup whipping cream
- 2 tbsp. sugar
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Mix all ingredients until dough forms. Drop by 12 spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake until golden brown, 10 to 12 minutes.
For Rolled Sweet Cream Biscuits: Turn dough onto cloth-covered board well dusted with baking mix. Gently roll in baking mix to coat. Shape into ball. Knead 10 times. Roll 1/2-inch thick. Cut with a 2-inch cutter dipped in baking mix. Bake as directed. Makes 12.
