Chippino
ingredients
- 12 mussels
- 12 little clams
- 1+ lb shrimp (shelled)
- 1 dungeness crab
- 1 lb solid fish - sea bass monk
- 3/4 lb scallops
- 1/4 olive oil
- 2 Tbs butter
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic
- 20 medium mushrooms
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 1 lb (12oz) tomatoes
- 1 (6oz) tomato paste
- 1/2 chopped pepper
- 1 tsp basil
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 2 cup dry red wine

Heat oil and butter saute onion and garlic until tender - add mushrooms. Cook until soft.

Add tomatoes, paste, green peppers, seasoning and lemon juice. Bring to a boil

Simmer at least 1 1/2 hours. Adjust seasonings. Put fish in the last 20 minutes
