The Best Shabbat Chicken

KristenKristen Lapiner

This is the chicken I make, just about every Friday night. It’s really easy!

ingredients

  • First, drizzle olive oil on the pan before placing the chicken in. (I use the cut up whole chicken).
  • Generously (don’t be shy) drizzle olive oil all over the chicken.
  • Sprinkle fresh garlic all over the chicken
  • Squeeze lemon juice all over the chicken
  • Drizzle herbs (oregano, basil, or herbs de provence), paprika, lawry’s salt, & pepper

directions

  • 1

Bake at 350 for about 50 minutes (or until it’s done). After you serve the chicken, gather the au jus from a pan in a gravy boat and drizzle on top.
