Lite onion rings
The great taste of home-made onion rings, but with little ingredients and fast. They also have a lighter coating so you get more onion rather then batter.
ingredients
- o 2-4 Large onions
- o 2 cups of flour
- 2 tsp. of cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 cup of milk
- A high sided skillet
- Fill it half way up with vegetable oil, heated to about 350 degrees F.
directions
Cut the onions into thin rings. Coat them with milk in a bowl or pan. Put your flour, cayenne, salt, and pepper into a gallon sized zip lock bag. Mix it together then add onion rings and shake till evenly coated. Gently place the onions in the oil. Cook till golden brown then place on paper towels and allow them to a little.
