Lemon-Cranberry Scones
ingredients
- 3 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 2/3 cup of sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 6 tablespoons cold unsalted butter, cut into small cubes
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice plus enough milk to equal one cup
- 1 cup of dried cranberries
- 1 teaspoon lemon peel
- 1 egg slightly beaten
- 1 egg white
- 2 tablespoons sugar
directions
Mix dough and flatten and shape into circle. Cut into 6 pieces and bake at 400 degrees till golden brown.
