Sparkling Mango Strawberry Sangria
Wonderful refreshing beverage for brunch on a hot summer day. Can be made up to 2 days ahead.
ingredients
- 1 jar of refrigerated mango, drained & pureed in blender (reserve 1 oz syrup)
- 6 large strawberries, pureed in blender
- 1 oz of reserved mango syrup
- 6 oz fresh orange juice
- 6 oz fresh lemon juice
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 4 oz orange liqueur (Cointreau)
- 4 oz citrus vodka (Absolute Citron)
directions
Mix first 6 ingredients in pitcher and refrigerate overnight or up to two days. At least one hour prior to serving, add next two ingredients and refrigerate until ready to serve. Pour mixture into champagne flutes 2/3 full. Top with Prosecco and serve immediately.

Susan served this recipe at a summer brunch for the NVQ's. It was a very refreshing beverage for a hot summer day. Even if you are not a fan of Sangria's, give this a try. You'll be pleasantly surprised.
