ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp. water
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla
  • 2 cups sifted flour
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)

directions

Preheat the oven to 325. Cream butter and sugar together. Add water and vanilla and mix well. Blend in flour, nuts and chips. Chill dough at least 1 hour. Shape dough into balls or crescents. Bake for 20 minutes. Roll or sprinkle with powdered sugar when cool.
