Clam Bake
ingredients
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 6 cloves garlic, chopped
- 3 cup leaks, chopped
- 1 1/2 lb new potatoes quartered, enough to cover the bottom of the pot
- 1 1/2 lbs kielbasa (bite size pieces)
- 3 dozen little necks
- 2 lbs mussels washed and debearded
- 1 1/2 lbs large shrimp uncooked and cleaned
- 1 lb scallops (optional)
- 2-3 ears of corn-halved (optional)
- 1 cup dry white wine

Sauté garlic and leaks in olive oil cook until soft.

Begin adding the ingredients as they are listed above in one large pot. Add the wine after the potatoes and kielbasa. This gives the potatoes more liquid so they cook faster.

Cover the pot and put on medium heat (~15-20 minutes) until steam begins to come from the pot. Keep covered on medium heat for an additional 15 minutes after that.

After the 15 minutes is up check on the shrimp and the clams, if they are done everything should be done.
