- 2 3/4 cups flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup butter, soft
- 1 1/4 cups sugar, divided
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. grated lemon peel

Combine flour, baking powder, & salt, set aside. Cream butter & 1 cup sugar. Beat in eggs, vanilla, & lemon peel. Beat in dry ingredients. Divide dough, wrap tightly. Refrigerate 4 hours.

Preheat oven 350 degrees.

Bake 6-8 minutes.
