Mac and Cheese
A Schroeder family favorite
ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups elbow macaroni
- 1 1/2 cups medium cheddar cheese
- 3/4 cup milk
- 3 tablespoons butter
- salt and pepper to taste
directions

Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and put back into pan on the stove you just turned off. (This keeps macaroni warm and melts cheese).

Stir in remaining ingredients until melted. You may have to turn the stove back on to low heat to melt everything together.
notes
I love seasoned salt on this.
