Orange and Green Salad with Pecan Garlic Dressing
ingredients
Salad:- 1 small head romaine
- 1/2 bag spinach
- 3 navel oranges
- 1 cup pecan halves, toasted
- 1/2 cup sliced red onion
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup white wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoon pecan halves, toasted
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- salt and pepper

Salad:

1. Wash and dry romaine and spinach. Tear into bite size pieces. Place in a large bowl.

2. Using a sharp knife, cut away peel and white pith from oranges.

3. Cut oranges into 1/8 inch thick slices.

4. Add to greens with pecan and onion slices.
Dressing:

1. In blender or food processor, combine oil, vinegar, pecans, garlic, salt and pepper.

2. Process until well blended.

3. Pour over lettuce and serve.
