Carol's Shepherd's Pie

Makes 10 servings

Jim & Carol Jordan with Vicki. They are from our Nomads camping group. We were at Sugar Barge. This Shepherd’s pie is real tasty. You should give it a try.

ingredients

2 lbs. ground beef
1 large onion
2 cans french cut green beans
2 cans creamed corn
5 potatoes
salt, pepper, and garlic to taste

directions

Peal potatoes and boil them to make mashed potatoes. Chop onion and fry in a pan for a few minutes. Then add hamburger and fry until cooked. Season with the salt, pepper, and garlic to your taste. Drain grease, put hamburger and onion mixture in a 9z13 dish. drain green beans and add to top of hamburger, then pour creamed corn on top of beans evenly. Add mashed potatoes in dollops on top of the creamed corn smooth them . Sprinkle chopped parsley and paprika for looks and some color. Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 45 minutes.
