Flash Cooked Ginger Beef
ingredients
- For Stir Frying
- 1 1/2 lbs flank steak, sliced 1/8 inch thick across grain and then into 1 inch pieces
- 5 1/2 tbs canola or corn oil
- 2 tbs minced garlic
- 3/4 cup fresh shredded ginger
- 4 whole scallions, cut into fine shreds
- 2 1/2 tbs rice wine or sake
- 5 cups fresh bean sprouts, rinsed
- Marinade:
- 3 1/2 tbs soy sauce
- 2 tbs rice wine or sake
- 2 tbs minced garlic
- 1 tbs cornstarch
- Sauce:
- 6 tbs soy sauce
- 1 1/2 tbs sugar
- 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
