Best-Ever Marinade
This makes enough marinade for 2 cut-up chickens or 8 large, bone-in chicken breasts or 2-3 punds of uncooked shrimp (peeled & deveined).
ingredients
- 3/4 cup canola oil
- 3/4 cup olive oil
- 3/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tablespoons dry mustard
- 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
- 4 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 cup cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1 1/2 Tablespoons chopped flat-leaf parsley
- 3 garlic cloves, crushed
- handful of diced green onion tops

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and whisk together.

Place meat or seafood in large zip-top bags and pour marinade over. Release air from bags before sealing.

Marinate in the fridge at least 4-6 hours, preferably overnight. Discard all marinade after use.
