Spicy Asian Marinade
This all-purpose marinade can be used for chicken or turkey breast, pork cutlets, firm-pressed tofu, and seafood.
ingredients
- 3 tablespoons ponzu soy sauce or lite soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons cooking sherry, rice wine or sake
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 inch knob of fresh ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon dried chile flakes or hot chile paste

Mix together all the ingredients in a bowl. Add meat and marinate no longer then 24 hours.

This also makes a nice sauce for Asian noodles or as salad dressing.
