Chicken Steamed with Lemon

ingredients

  • 3/4 lb chicken cutlets, 1 inch cubes
  • Marinade
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • lemon cut into 4 pieces
  • 1/2 tsp ginger juice
  • 2 tsp white wine
  • 1 1/2 tsp light soy sauce
  • 2 1/2 tsp oyster sauce
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 1/2 tsp peanut oil
  • pinch of whit epepper
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • cilantro sprigs

    Make marinade ahead of time, then add chicken to marinade and let sit for 20 minutes.

    Place chicken and marinade in heat proof bowl (pyrex). Place dish in steamer for 15 minutes.

    Serve with rice and sauce over it.
