Broiled Swordfish Teriyaki

ingredients

  • Sauce:
  • 3 T. soy sauce
  • 2 t. Asian sesame oil
  • 1 T. seasoned rice vinegar
  • 1 T. honey
  • 2 t. ginger
  • 1/2 t. cornstarch
  • 1/4 t. ground pepper
  • 1 green onion, minced
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 4 swordfish or salmon steaks, 1 inch thick, (6 oz. each)

    Preheat broiler. Mix together ingredients for sauce. Place fish on rack in broiling pan; brush with half the sauce. Place pan at closest position to heat; broil 5 minutes.

    Turn fish over and brush with remaining sauce. Broil 4-5 minutes longer, until fish is golden brown on the outside and opaque throughout. Sprinkle with green onions before serving.
