Broccoli or Cauliflower Casserole
Easy; Preparation Time:30 min. Can be made a day or two ahead before cooking and put in refrigerator.
ingredients
- 1 lg bunch fresh broccoli or cauliflower 2C. grated cheddar cheese 2/3 C. evaporated milk 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup 1 can (3 1/2) French-fried onion rings
directions
Trim off all thick part of stems and slit. Split large pieces. Steam until barely tender (10 to 15 min.). Arrange in a casserole and sprinkle with cheese. Mix soup and milk, pour over. Bake 25 min. at 350 degrees. Top with onion rings and bake 8 to 10 min. more or until onions are crisp.
