Dressing
ingredients
- Whole chicken
- 2 pks bread crumbs
- 1 cup onion
- 1 cup celery
- 3-4 eggs
- 1 stick melted butter
- 1 Tbs poultry seasoning
- 1 Tbs season salt
- 3 Tbs salt (unless you use broth)
- 1 Tbs pepper
directions
Cook chicken- 2 1/2 cups ground chicken. Cook gizzards separetly, don’t use juice (bitter). Soak bread crumbs in broth cooked from chicken. Add enough broth to cover bread crumbs (can use can broth if you don’t have enough). Grind up onions and celery, don’t put with meat. Bake for 3 hours at 350
notes
Use cold broth, othervise dressing will get sticky.
