Patti LaBelle's Mac and Cheese

  • 1 lb elbow macaroni

  • 1 stick plus 1 tablespoon melted butter

  • ½ cup shredded munster

  • ½ cup mild & sharp cheddar

  • ½ cup monterey jack

  • 1 cup cubed Velveeta cheese

  • 2 cups half & half

  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten

  • Pour cooked macaroni into a large bowl.

  • Add cheese, then pour in melted butter, eggs, and half & half. Salt & pepper to taste.

  • Pour the mixture into a baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
