Gram Gillespie's German Chocolate Cake
ingredients
- 1 German Chocolate Cake Mix
- Topping:
- 1 Cup Evaporated Milk
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 3 Egg Yolks
- 1/2 Cup Butter
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1 1/3 Cup Coconut
- 1 Cup Chopped Pecans
directions
Cook cake as directed on box. Topping: Combine milk, sugar, egg yolks, butter & vanilla in a saucepan. Cook & stir over medium heat until thick about 12 minutes. Stir in coconut & pecans, beat until thick enough and spread over cake.
