Cottage Cheese Perogies
ingredients
Dough- 1 c water
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 egg whites
- 2 T oil
- Enough flour to make a stiff dough
- 600 g dry cottage cheese
- 1 tsp salt
- Pepper to taste
- 2 egg yolks

Mix dough ingredients together and let stand for 10 minutes

Mix filling ingredients well with hands

Roll dough out thinly

Cut out circles with round cookie cutter.

Put approximately 1 tsp of filling on dough, fold over, forming a half circle and pinch together with your fingers to seal in the filling.

Place on a clean tea towel or floured surface while making.

Boil for 5 minutes, drain, then fry on both sides until brown if desired.
