Jody's Matzoh Ball Soup
ingredients
- Matzoh Balls:
- Buy a box of Matzoh Ball Mix and follow exact instructions on box.
- Ingredients:
- Eggs, Vegetable Oil, Seltzer, Salt, Pepper
- Soup:
- Carrots
- Parsnips
- Celery
- 1 Huge Sweet Onion
- Parsley
- Peppercorns
- Bay leaf
- 1 Fryer Chicken Quartered
directions

1.Fill huge soup pot with water and add whole onion with cuts in it.

2.Next add chicken (wash first and remove any yucky stuff).

3.Bring to a boil and skim scum.

4.Simmer for 15 minutes and add then everything else. (Cut the veggies into nice big bite size chunks).

It is ready when the carrots are soft.
notes
(use seltzer instead of water because it makes the matzoh balls fluffier)
