Tasha Tudor's Baked Macaroni and Cheese
(aka Turkey Bowl Macaroni and Cheese)
ingredients
- 2 cups (7 oz) elbow macaroni
- 8 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated
- Salt and Pepper
- 4 oz. Velveeta, cubed
- 1/2 cup crumbled Ritz crackers for topping (actually I probably use more like 1 cup, and I crumble them by putting in a resealable Ziploc bag, removing air, sealing and mushing them with the heels of my hands on countertops)
