Mom's Hamantashen
ingredients
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 cups flour
- 3 Tbsp water or milk
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- prune butter, apricot butter

Cream butter and sugar.

Add liquids and flour; alternately using enough flour to make a soft ball.

Refrigerate

Divide ball into 2-3 sections.

Roll each section flat.

Use an inverted juice glass to cut circles.

Place small amount of filling in center of circle.

Pinch to form triangle to seal.

Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 12-15 min in 350 oven.
