Aunt Karen's Apricot/Raspberry Bars
ingredients
- 1/2 lb. margarine, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup apricot or raspberry preserves

Divide batter into 2.

Spray 9” pan with oil spray.

Spread 1/2 batters in pan. Top with preserves. Leaving a 1” border.

Sprinkle with nuts, saving some for top.

Top with remaining dough, top layer may be difficult to spread.

Sprinkle with remaining chopped walnuts.

Bake at 350 for 1 hour or until lightly golden/brown.
