ingredients

  • 2 large ripe Hess avocados
  • 1 lime, juice of
  • 3 four ounce cans of peeled, green chilies chopped
  • 2 tablespoons of finely minced onion
  • 1 large ripe tomato, peeled, seeded, juiced and finely chopped
  • 3 sprigs of fresh cilantro,chopped
  • 10 drops of Tabasco sauce
  • salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

Serve with tortilla chips or raw vegetables as a first course or serve as a condiment to grilled chicken grilled steak fajitas. This recipe originated from California. I have used it for years.
