Pecan Pie

Good. Really, really good. ’Nuff said. And, yes, Kyle, this is the same recipe I burned so badly one Thanksgiving.

  • 1 cup light corn syrup

  • 1 cup dark brown sugar

  • ⅓ tsp salt

  • ⅓ cup butter

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 3 eggs slightly beaten

  • 1 cup pecan halves

  • 1 9" unbaked pie shell

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  • Stir together all but eggs and pecans. Add eggs. Pour into 9" unbaked pie shell. Top with pecans.

  • Bake 45 minutes or till knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes clean.
