Layered Christmas Jello Salad
This was my Grandma Stansbery’s recipe. I have fond memories of this at Christmas.
ingredients
- 3 small packages Jello (cherry, lemon and lime)
- 1 cup of boiling water
- 16 large marshmallows, cut into small pieces
- 1 8-ounce package of cream cheese at room temperature
- 1 8-ounce can of crushed pineapple, drained
directions
Prepare cherry Jello per directions on box and pour in a 9x13 inch pan. Chill until set. Mix lemon Jello, hot water, marshmallows, and cream cheese in a large saucepan. Stir until melted over medium heat. Let cool but not set. Mix in pineapple. Carefully pour over cherry Jello and chill until set. Prepare lime Jello per directions on box and let cool, but not set. Pour over prepared mixture and chill until set.
