Mom's Amaretto Fudge
ingredients
- Chocolate Layer:
- 3/4 cup butter (1.5 sticks)
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 5oz can evaporated milk
- 12 oz package semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 7oz Marshmallow Cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Color Layer:
- 3/4 cup butter (1.5 sticks)
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 5oz can evaporated milk
- 12 oz package semi-sweet white chocolate chips
- 7oz Marshmallow Cream
- 2 teaspoon almond extract
- Food Color

Foil a 9x13 pan

Microwave butter in a 4 qt GLASS bowl on high for 1 minute until butter is melted. Add sugar and milk and mix well. Microwave for 2 minutes. Remove, stir and microwave for 2 more minutes. Remove, stir and microwave for 2 minutes, 15 seconds. Remove, stir and microwave for 1 minute 30 seconds. (continue this pattern until the mixture is bubbling up to the top of the dish) Gradually add chips until melted. Add remaining ingredients and mix well, then pour into prepared pan. Cool at room temp.

Repeat steps for additional layers.

When fudge is cool, cut into preferred size pieces.

*Feel free to use the color ingredients for multiple colors instead of half and half*
