Gramma Grace's Sugar Cookies

Cookies to roll & cut out, made especially during Christmas time!
ingredients
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup softened butter (or margarine/shortening)
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cups flour
directions

Cream together with mixer sugar & softened butter.

Beat in eggs, vanilla, cream of tartar, baking soda & salt.

Add flour, mix together.

Form into a ball and refrigerate at least 2 hours.

Roll on lightly floured bread board and cut into shapes. Decorate.

Bake at 350 just until edges light brown, do not overbake.

Cool on wire rack.
