ingredients

  • 1 Tbl olive oil
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 bunch swiss chard washed
  • ribs removed chopped
  • leaves stacked and cut 1/2 in
  • 2 Tbl water
  • 1/4 cup golden rasins
  • 1/2 cup green pimento olives sliced
  • 1/2 Lemon
  • Salt & Pepper taste

    Heat oil in dutch oven medium heat.

    Addd onion saute 2 minutes add chard stems saute 5 minutes.

  • 3

    Add chard leaves and water. Stir in rasins and olives. Cover, low the heat, steam 5 minutes. Liquid should be mostly evaporated if not turn up heat & cook a little longer. Taste, season salt & pepper squeeze lemon.
