Yummy White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies
You can change the recipe to your liking, using semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips. Mike likes the macadamia nuts with white chocolate the best, but milk chocolate chips with walnuts is also good. Personally, my favorite is semi-sweet chips and no nuts.
ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 large pkg. Jello instant pudding mix
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 package white chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped macadamia nuts

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Combine flour, salt, soda and pudding mix in medium bowl and set aside. In larger bowl, combine softened butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla. Stir until mixed. Gradually add the flour mixture. Stir in chips and nuts. Spoon onto cookie sheet and bake for 11 to 13 minutes, depending on the oven. Cool. Enjoy!

The pudding mix keeps the cookies from coming out hard if baked too long. It also gives the cookies a funny taste if they’re not eaten or frozen within a couple of days, so we usually freeze them in an airtight container right away and take them out as w
