ingredients

  • Pizza Dough
  • 1 package active dry yeast
  • 2 cups warm water
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 lb hamburger
  • Pizza Dough
  • 1 can tomato sauce (8 oz)
  • 1 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 20 - 30 pepperoni slices
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Pizza Crust (optional)
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 3 teaspoons salt

    Pizza Dough

    Dissolve yeast in warm water. Stir in remaining ingredients; beat vigorously. Let rest for 5 minutes.

    Preheat oven to 425°F. Cook hamburger until brown. Prepare pizza dough. Mix tomato sauce, oregano, basil, garlic, and salt.

    Divide the pizza dough in half. Put each half on separate greased clay or metal pans. Spread the dough over the pans. Spread the sauce over the dough. Add mozzarella and cheddar cheese. Sprinkle on hamburger. Add pepperoni slices.

    In a small bowl mix the vegetable oil, garlic, and salt. Spread lightly with a spoon or brush over crust. Discard extra.

    Cook in oven for 15 minutes or until cheese is light brown.
