Peaches and Cream PieSarah Armstrong
Another Mom recipe. This is my favorite pie of all time! It is refreshing and creamy and AWESOME!
- 3/4 c flour
- 1/2 t salt (optional)
- 1 t baking powder
- 1 3.12 oz pkg cook and serve vanilla pudding mix
- 3 T butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c milk
- 29 oz can sliced peaches, drained with syrup reserved
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 c sugar
- 2 T cinnamon sugar
Preheat ove to 350 degrees. Grease sides and bottom of 10 in deep dish pie pan.
Mix flour, salt, powder, and pudding mix. Mix in butter, egg, and milk. Beat for 2 minutes. Pour mix in pie pan. Arrange peaches on top (can dice the sliced peaches if desired).
Beat cream cheese until fluffy. Add 1/2 c sugar and 3 T reserved peach syrup. Beat for 2 minutes. Spoon mixture over peaches to within 1 inch of pan edge. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar on top.
Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown. Chill before serving.
