Pecan Filled Cookies

A personal favorite of one of my drill instructors. These are like little pecan pies, only not as sweet.
ingredients
- 1 c brown sugar
- 1/2 c butter
- 1 egg
- 1 t vanilla
- 2 c flour
- 1/2 t baking soda
- 1/4 t salt
- Filling:
- 1/2 c pecans, chopped
- 1/8 c sour cream
- 1/4 c brown sugar

Use the handle of a wooden spoon to make the depression in the cookie dough.
