Steamed Asparagus with Warm Goat Cheese
ingredients
- 4 to 5 ounce fresh goat cheese log, sliced into four disks
- 1/4 cup panko bread crumbs
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 pound of Steamed asparagus, seasoned with salt and pepper
- Lemon wedge for garnish
directions
Dredge goat cheese disks in flour and then in panko bread crumbs. Freeze for 15 minutes. Heat oil in a nonstick skillet. Add cheese disks and cook until browned, about 1-2 minutes per side. Serve with steamed asparagus and garnish with lemon wedges.
