Fried Oysters
These were always a favorite of my dad. I always thought he was nuts until I tried them. Now I have to agree with him.
ingredients
- 4-8 oz cans refrigerated fresh oysters, drained and patted dry between paper towels
- flour seasoned with salt and pepper
- 1 egg beaten and diluted with 1 Tbs water
- 1 envelope saltine crackers, crushed
- vegetable oil to deep fry
directions

Roll oysters in seasoned flour then in egg and finally in cracker crumbs. May reroll in egg and crackers for heavier coating.

Fry in hot (375 degree) vegetable oil, turning once, until golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper.
