Parker House Rolls
ingredients
- 1 c. yeast (less than 1 oz.)
- 1 pint milked (scalded and cooled)
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 4 tbsp melted shortening
- 3 pints sifted flour
- 1 tsp salt
directions
Dissolve yeast in warm milk. Add sugar, shortening and 1/2 the flour. Let rise one hour and add rest of flour. Finish as for the others.
