Easter PizzaCarlie Opitz
Recipe from the kitchen of Helen Friel.
- Pizza Dough
- 2 lbs ricotta cheese
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup grated Italian cheese
- 1 cup ham, sausage or kielbasa
- 1 tbsp black pepper or less
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease pizza pan and place rolled dough in pan.
Combine filling ingredients (ricotta, eggs, salt, pepper, italian cheese, and meat).
Spread filling evenly on dough leaving one each to seal. Place top dough layer on and pinch ends to seal.
Bake until crust is lightly brown. May be necessary to turn pizza over and bake a few minutes on other side to keep crust from getting soggy.
