Peanut Butter Blossoms

Peanut butter and hershey kisses!
ingredients
- 48 hershey kisses
- 1/2 c. shortning
- 3/4 c. Reeses creamy peanut butter
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. packed brown sugar
- 2 Tbl. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- small dish of sugar

Heat oven to 375. Remove wrappers from chocolate. Beat shortning, and peanut butter in large bowl. Add sugar, and brown sugar. (beat until fluffy) Add egg, milk, and vanilla. Gradually add flour, baking soda, and salt. Roll into 1 in. balls and roll in sugar. Bake on cookie sheet 8-10 min.

Immediately out of the oven, press chocolate kisses into the center of each cookie. Edges will crack. Cool on wire rack.
