The Weed's Spicy Mexican Dip
Since we all know how much you enjoy watching sports together, here is a fun dip to eat while catching the big game!
ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 3 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 16-ounce can kidney beans
- 1 1/2 cups chopped green olives
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped green onion
- Corn chips, to dip

Brown meat and onions in a skillet. Drain fat. Set aside.

Whirl ketchup, chili powder and kidney beans in a food processor or blender until smooth.

Add bean mixture to browned meat and onions. Simmer for 10 minutes.

Put warm mixture in a bowl. Top with concentric circles of olives, cheese and onions. Serve with corn chips.

Hint: Dip may be frozen or refrigerated before adding topping. To serve, warm to room temperature, heat at 350 for 25 minutes and add topping.
